Tunnell & Raysor, P.A. is pleased to welcome Charles I. Cate as of-counsel to the firm on matters of Federal Taxation

Mr. Cate and his wife recently moved to Lewes from the Washington Metropolitan Area where Mr. Cate has spent the last 35 years representing clients before the Internal Revenue Service, United States Tax Court and federal and state courts in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia. Mr. Cate began his tax practice as an attorney in the National Office of the IRS in Washington and holds a Master of Laws Degree in Taxation from Georgetown University Law School.

Over the years Mr. Cate has represented clients in a variety of business and tax matters as well as audits, collections, installment agreements, offers in compromise and tax exemption. We value his availability to advise clients on their federal tax matters.

Mr. Cate is admitted to the bars of the District of Columbia, California and Virginia. He is authorized to represent clients before the IRS and the United States Tax Court anywhere in the United States. He limits his representation of Delaware clients to federal tax matters.
